The Lethbridge Hurricanes are hoping to get back into winning ways when game four of their second-round WHL playoff series against Calgary starts on Wednesday, April 16.

The Canes fell 5-3 to the Hitmen Tuesday night, their first loss of the series.

After a first period where neither team made it onto the scoreboard, Calgary hit the net twice in the second period while Trae Johnson scored for the Hurricanes, thanks to an assist from Kas Andresen.

It was all action in the third period as a total of five goals were scored.

That includes points by Shane Smith (assists from Logan McMutcheon and Kai Anderson) and Caden Price (assists from Andresen and Smith) for Lethbridge.

The Hitmen got another three points, including a goal one second before the final bell.

Lethbridge leads the series two games to one.

Game 4 gets underway at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena.

Game 5 will return to Calgary, while a sixth game, if necessary, will be to Lethbridge on Saturday, April 19.
