Large grass fire north of Picture Butte, evacuations may be required

The Coaldale RCMP is advising the public of a large grass fire.
A notice, posted just after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 25, says the fire is on Range Road 214 and Township Road 132, just off of Highway 843.
The area is approximately 26 kilometres north of Picture Butte.
Local fire crews are on scene.
The RCMP says evacuations may be required. If so, affected persons are asked to follow directions from all emergency personnel.
No other information is available at this time.
