Search warrants underway in Taber for organized crime investigation

Residents of Taber can expect to see a heavy police presence.

The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team (ALERT) says it began conducting a series of search warrants at various locations in the community on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.

ALERT says “Project Leadline” is an investigation into organized crime, and that arrests and seizures are being made. The work is being done with the help of the Taber Police Service, Lethbridge Police Service and the RCMP.

No further details were released at this time.
