Street sweeping starts Wednesday in Lethbridge County

If you live in the rural areas outside of Lethbridge, you can expect to see street sweeping vehicles over the next few days.

Lethbridge County says it will begin its annual street sweeping program on Wednesday, April 30, which should be completed by Monday, May 5.

“During this time, crews will sweep County hamlets, residential subdivisions and business/industrial parks to remove leftover gravel and debris from the winter months,” reads a PSA from Lethbridge County. “To ensure thorough sweeping, please remove all vehicles, equipment and trailers from the streets on your scheduled day. Crews will not return to areas once they have been swept.”

2025 Street Sweeping Schedule:

• Wednesday, April 30: Edgemoor, Sunset Acres, Mountain Meadows, Riverbrink Estates and Monarch
• Thursday, May 1: Fairview, Rave Industrial Park, Frontier Industrial Park, Stewart Siding Industrial Park, Broxburn Industrial Park
• Friday, May 2: Diamond City, Shaughnessy and Park Lake Estates
• Monday, May 5: Deer Run Estates, Iron Springs and Turin
