Pincher Creek woman wins $100,000

The Western Canadian Lottery Corporation has announced a grand prize winner of a scratch ticket.

Meaza Bilal of Pincher Creek won $100,000 on a $5 50X THE CASH Scratch & Win Ticket. It was purchased from the Shell gas station in Pincher Creek.

“I scratched the barcode on the ticket and scanned it—I could not believe what the machine said,” she says. “I even went to another store to see if the amount was real!”

Bilal says she was in shock and that she had never won anything like this before.

She plans to put much of her winnings into savings and take some classes.
