Former Lethbridge Hurricane Harrison Meneghin signed by Tampa Bay Lightning

Medicine Hat Tigers goaltender Harrison Meneghin has put pen to paper on a three-year entry-level contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Meneghin was the MVP of the 2025 WHL Playoffs, helping backstop the Medicine Hat Tigers to their sixth title in franchise history, going 14-1-0 while boasting a 2.35 GAA and 0.906 SV% along with three shutouts.

Picked in the seventh round, 206th overall in the 2024 NHL Draft, Meneghin will take his talents to Florida after the Tigers’ season wraps up in two weeks after the Memorial Cup in Rimouski, QC.

Throughout his entire WHL Career, Meneghin appeared in 126 games, going 69-42-8-3 with a 2.72 GAA and 0.900 SV%.

Harrison spent two full seasons with the Lethbridge Hurricanes in 2022-24 before being acquired by Medicine Hat in October 2024.

Meneghin and the Tigers begin their bid for the third Memorial Cup in team history this coming Friday, when they kick off the tournament against the hosts, the Rimouski Oceanic.
