Southern Alberta MLAs named to provincial committees

A few local members of the Alberta Government have received new roles and responsibilities.

Premier Danielle Smith has announced the MLAs who will serve on the government’s cabinet policy committees.

“I am proud of the dedication of Alberta’s cabinet ministers and MLAs who are stepping up to take on additional responsibilities and work on behalf of Albertans,” says Smith. “Each committee member will bring invaluable insight and new perspectives reflecting the diversity of their own experiences. I look forward to working together on Alberta’s priorities – growing our economy and building strong, safe communities.”

Earlier this month, Smith also announced shakeups to the government’s cabinet ministers.

Joseph Schow became the Minister of Jobs, Economy, Trade and Immigration and Hunter was appointed the Associate Minister of Water.

Nathan Neudorf continues to serve as the Minister of Affordability and Utilities.
