Voters in Lethbridge will get some fun and creative stickers when they cast their ballots this fall.

The City of Lethbridge is teaming up with local school divisions to launch an “I Voted” sticker contest for students in Grades K-12.

City Clerk and Returning Officer Bonnie Hilford says she is excited to see what the young artists come up with.

“This is a fun way to get students, and our future voters, involved in democracy and get residents talking about the upcoming election and voting.”

Lethbridge School Division Board Chair Christine Light adds that, even though the youths cannot vote in the election, the results will directly impact them.

She believes it is a great way to get kids involved in the greater community and to raise awareness of participating in the democratic process.

Students will have until June 20 to submit their designs, and the winning one will be announced in September. The winner will receive a pizza party to celebrate.

The sticker will be available at polling stations during the voting period, October 8-20, 2025.

More information for voters and prospective candidates can be found on the City of Lethbridge’s website.
