Have you ever met someone who is this lucky?

The Western Canada Lottery Corporation has announced the winner of a $1 million prize in Lethbridge.

David Serkin has won the lottery for the third time in less than 12 months and the fourth time overall.

In 2024, he won $500,000 on the August 20 LOTTO MAX draw and then $1 million on the November 16 LOTTO 6/49 draw.

That means he has taken home $2.5 million in winnings since last summer.

Serkin also claimed $283,377.60 on a LOTTO MAX draw in December 2016.

“I know the odds are astronomical,” Serkin laughed. “I don’t think it’ll happen again, but I still like buying tickets.”

The most recent prize came on May 3, 2025, LOTTO 6/49 Gold Ball draw with the selection: 24645097-05, a white ball. It was purchased from the Shell gas station on 2440 Fairway Plaza Road South in Lethbridge.

He says he has been playing since LOTTO 6/49 first launched in 1982.
