Town of Coaldale launches Community Satisfaction Survey

Jun 2, 2025 | 3:02 PM

Residents of Coaldale can voice their opinions on the work their municipality is doing.

The Town of Coaldale’s 2025 Community Satisfaction Survey goes over topics like town programs and services, finances and taxes, governance, communication, engagement and quality of life.

Mayor Jack Van Rijn says he believes that strong communities are built on strong communication between the public and their local government.

He says the survey is not just a “checkbox” that the town is obligated to complete, but rather, a meaningful way to hear from residents.

“The feedback we receive will guide how we prioritize projects, allocate resources, and plan for the future. Whether it’s a comment on service delivery, a suggestion for improvement, or a general reflection on life in Coaldale, every response matters and every voice helps shape our direction as a community,” says Van Rijn.

The survey will remain open until July 31, 2025. The results will be presented to Town Council in early September.

It can be completed online at LetsConnectCoaldale.ca. Printed copies are also available at the Civic Square town office.
