Interfaith Food Bank celebrates National Garden Day
Lethbridge residents can expect a BBQ and crafts at the upcoming Interfaith Learning Garden this Friday, June 13.
It’s part of Garden Days, Canada’s celebration of National Garden Day which is held annually on the Friday before Father’s Day.
Visit Interfaith Learning Garden from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. for a FREE BBQ, Garden tours and kid’s crafts. Participate for free, with donations gratefully accepted for Interfaith Food Bank. Handmade goods will also be available for sale at the Helpful Hobbies Pop Up Market during the event.
Communities in Bloom’s Theme of the Year is Edible Gardens. Organizers say growing your own food is a powerful way to support sustainability, enhance local ecosystems, and build stronger connections within our communities.
