You can help shape the future of public art in Lethbridge.

The City of Lethbridge has launched an online survey as part of the development of its updated Public Art Master Plan.

They say it builds on the original 2012 plan to reimagine how public art can enrich life through inclusion, placemaking and cultural vibrancy.

Community Arts and Culture Manager Jillian Bracken says a lot has changed over the last 13 years, so the new plan aims to capture that growth and evolution.

“As Lethbridge keeps growing and changing, so should the ways we support and celebrate our community,” says Bracken. “This updated Public Art Master Plan is about capturing who we are today and where we’re headed. And that means listening to the people who live here.”

Residents can also look at the Community Discussion Toolkit, which the city says offers simple ways to spark meaningful conversations about Lethbridge’s cultural identity.

The survey can be accessed here, and you can learn more about the Public Art Master Plan through this link.
