Lethbridge Police seeking armed robbery suspect

The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is asking for your help to locate a suspect in a liquor store robbery.

Just after 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, LPS says an unknown man entered the Ace Liquor on the 300 block of Bluefox Blvd North.

“The male selected liquor, approached the front counter, then produced a knife and demanded cash,” reads a news release from LPS.

An undisclosed amount of cash was provided to the suspect, who then left.

Nobody was hurt.

The suspect is described by LPS as a Caucasian man in his 40s or 50s, around six feet tall and with a medium build.

Anyone who can help to identify the man or who has any other information that could help in the investigation is asked to phone LPS at 403-328-444 and reference file 25011496.
