LPS seeking two suspects after minor allegedly sexually assaulted

The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is asking for the public’s help in identifying two people in a sexual assault investigation.

On Friday, June 27, a 14-year-old boy reported to police that he had been sexually assaulted by an unknown man in the washroom at Park Place Mall.

Video footage reportedly showed the suspect, along with a second uninvolved man, both entering an SUV and leaving the area shortly afterward.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man between the ages of 60 and 70, approximately six feet tall, with a slim build. He was wearing a black coat and a black hat.

The uninvolved man is described as Caucasian, between the ages of 60 and 70, approximately six feet tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a black and white hat, along with a teal shirt.

The vehicle is believed to be a 2010-2017 white GMC Terrain SUV with a B.C. license plate.

Anyone who recognizes the two men or the vehicle, or who has information that could assist with the investigation, is asked to call LPS at 403-328-4444 and reference file 25011560.
