Multi-unit home in Medicine Hat’s north flats damaged by fire

A structure fire at a triplex in the North Flats area of Medicine Hat on Wednesday afternoon destroyed two units in the building.

Firefighters responded to the 600 block of Industrial Avenue around 2 p.m. on July 2 and remained on site battling the fire until approximately 5:30 p.m.

Crews returned later that evening to put out a small debris fire in the front yard.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
