A group of local WHL players will get the opportunity to train with the pros.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes have announced that half a dozen members of their 2024-25 roster will attend NHL Development Camps this week.

They are Noah Chadwick, Brayden Yager, Caden Price, Carsen Adair, Jackson Unger and Miguel Marques.

Chadwick, 20, will attend the Toronto Maple Leafs camp. He was drafted by the Leafs in the sixth round (185th overall) in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. Chadwick was named an Eastern Conference First Team All-Star last season.

Yager, 20, will train with the Winnipeg Jets, who selected him in the first round (14th overall) of the 2023 NHL Draft before being acquired by the Jets in a trade. He was a two-time World Junior player for Canada, serving as captain in 2025.

Price, 19, will head to Seattle to work with the Kracken. He was picked up by the club in the third round (83rd overall) in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. Price was a member of the 2025 Canadian World Junior team.

Adair, 18, will attend hs first NHL Development Camp with the Vancouver Canucks. He went undrafted in the 2025 NHL Draft. Adair collected nine points (2g-7a) with 12 penalty minutes in 66 games with the Hurricanes in his rookie season.

Unger, 20, will have the opportunity to learn alongside the Washington Capitals. The goaltender had an 8-5-3-0 record with a 3.38 GAA and a .893 save percentage in this year’s WHL playoffs, helping the Hurricanes reach the Eastern Conference Championship Series.

Marques, 19, will take part in the Nashville Predators’ camp for the second time. He was drafted by Nashville in the third round (87th overall) in the 2024 NHL Draft. An injury limited his play time during the regular season, but the postseason saw him get 17 points (4g-13a) and 28 penalty minutes.

As well, Vojtech Cihar, a Hurricanes 2024 CHL Import Draft pick, will attend the LA Kings’ development camp.
