UPDATE (9:31 a.m. Friday): The Lethbridge Police Service says the high-risk incident has been resolved and that the public can resume use of the area. Police remain on scene as the investigation continues. No further information will be released by LPS at this time.

Police say they are on the scene of a high-risk incident in north Lethbridge.

First reported at 6:22 a.m. on Friday, July 4, the Lethbridge Police Service says it is occurring on the 200 block of Uplands Boulevard North.

The public is asked to avoid the area for the time being.
