Nobody hurt in south Lethbridge townhouse fire

A fire at a residential building in Lethbridge has been put out.

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services (LFES) was called to a townhouse on the 2800 block of 47 Street South around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9.

The blaze started on the front porch and extended to the exterior siding of the home. Smoke was seen throughout the inside.

Residents called 911 and attempted to contain the fire before the arrival of firefighters.
