The Southern Alberta RCMP Crime Reduction Unit arrested a female from the Blood Tribe First Nation who was unlawfully at large after she defeated her court ordered electronic monitoring device.
On Thursday, July 10, the 36-year old woman was located at a residence in Lethbridge by Mounties and is now facing two additional charges of failure to comply with her release order.
While on bail awaiting a court date to speak to 32 charges out of Calgary, Canmore, Chestermere, Turner Valley, Okotoks, Cochrane and Strathmore, a warrant was issued for the woman prior to her arrest.
After a judicial interim release hearing, she was remanded into custody with her next court appearance scheduled for Monday.
