Lethbridge Police asking for help in locating armed robbery suspect

The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) says it is attempting to find a man accused of committing an armed robbery.

Robert James Speir, 62, of Lethbridge, is charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon dangerous to the public.’

This is in connection with an armed robbery at the Ace Liquor store on the 300 block of Bluefox Boulevard North on June 26, 2025.

LPS previously said that a male suspect selected liquor, approached the front counter, then produced a knife and demanded cash.

Anyone who has seen Speir or who knows of his whereabouts is asked to call LPS at 403-328-4444 and reference file 25011496.
