Coalhurst to celebrate Miners Days July 25-26

Residents of Coalhurst will come together to celebrate the town’s 30th anniversary this coming weekend.

The annual Miners Day festival is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, July 25-26, 2025.

Scheduled activities, as outlined by the Town of Coalhurst, are as follows:

Friday, July 25:

• 6-9 PM: Coalhurst Fire Department Open House (702 55 Ave) – See the Town’s Fire Hall, interact with the equipment and fire trucks!

Saturday, July 26:

• 8 AM – 10 AM: Coalhurst Town Council Pancake Breakfast – Coalhurst Community Centre (527 50 Ave). Free of charge and everyone welcome! *Parking is limited due to paving of the south Community Centre parking lot. Please plan ahead.
• 10:30 AM: Annual parade – The parade will stage along 55th Avenue and then travel down 6th Street, 51st Ave, and 2nd Street.
• 11 AM- 4 PM: Imperial Meadows Family Festival (613 Spruce Drive) – Spray park, Giant Slip ‘n Slide, Lawn games, Face painting, Airbrush tattoos, Food trucks
• Noon – 5 PM: Coalhurst 55+ Club Cribbage Tournament/Fundraiser – Coalhurst Community Centre (527 50 Ave). RSVP.
• 3 PM – 11 PM (Live music 7-11 PM): Parking Lot Party at Coalhurst Legion (5205 6 Street) – Drink specials, BBQ, everyone welcome. Children must be with an adult to attend.
