The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is issuing a public safety reminder for cyclists.

They say bicycles and e-bikes are not permitted to drive on the road or the shoulder of the road on Whoop-Up Drive.

This comes after police say they found a 29-year-old man who was riding an e-bike on the busy roadway on Wednesday, July 23.

LPS says he was impeding the flow of traffic and putting himself in danger, but nobody was hurt.
