Logan Wormald commits to Nebraska-Omaha in 2026-27
A prominent member of the Lethbridge Hurricanes is set to join the NCAA.
Logan Wormald has signed with the collegiate hockey team at Nebraska-Omaha and will head down south once he reaches the end of his WHL eligibility.
“I’m thrilled to be able to commit to Omaha for the 2026-2027 season. I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about Nebraska, while the coaches and facilities are amazing and I’m super excited to grow as a player and person while there,” says Wormald. “They have built a great foundation, and I am super excited to be able to play a role in it.”
The 20-year-old was first drafted by the Canes in the third round (45 overall) in the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft. He has appeared in 236 regular-season games with Lethbridge over the last four seasons, amassing 210 points (856-125a), along with 142 penalty minutes and a plus-60 rating.
