No injuries in Taber collision, man charged

The Taber Police Service (TPS) was called out this week to a collision that resulted in “significant” damage to both vehicles.

It occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, at the intersection of Highway 3 and Highway 864.

Police say a Ford F350 truck was travelling eastbound on Highway 3 towards Highway 864.

A Ford 150 was heading westbound on Highway 3 and turned left, and according to TPS, collided with the F350. This caused the F150 to roll off the roadway.

Despite the extensive damage, officers say nobody was hurt.

A 63-year-old man from Wainwright is charged under the Alberta Use of Highways and Rules of the Road Regulation for turning left unsafely. His name has not been released. Turn Left Unsafely.
