Traffic signal replacements on Mayor Magrath/14 Ave South

Traffic will continue to flow as normal along Mayor Magrath Drive South, but drivers will be temporarily unable to use one of its intersections.

The City of Lethbridge says, on Thursday, August 28, crews will be replacing the traffic signal boxes at the intersection of Mayor Magrath and 14 Avenue South.

This work will create the following impacts on traffic:

• No access to Mayor Magrath Drive from 14 Avenue
• No left turn from Mayor Magrath Drive onto 14 Avenue
• No left turn from westbound 14 Avenue (service road) onto southbound Mayor Magrath Drive, and no traffic across Mayor Magrath Drive

Weather permitting, the project should be completed by the end of the day on Thursday.
