Coalhurst man wins $1 million in lottery

A local man is the latest from the region to become a millionaire.
The Western Canada Lottery Corporation says Alexander Kurylowicz won the $1 million prize on the LOTTO 6/49 Gold Ball Draw from June 25, 2025.
The Coalhurst resident says he took his ticket, along with several others, to the Save-On Foods in west Lethbridge.
Kurylowicz adds that he asked the cashier to double-check.
