Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation raises $219K through truck lottery

A local man is going home with a brand new pickup truck.

The Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation (CRHF) has announced the winner of its 2025 Truck Lottery.

Jim Sazalski has won a 2025 Ford F-150 XLT Super Crew Cab, valued at $77,000.

CRHF CEO Crystal Elliott congratulated Sazalski and said this was one of their most successful truck raffles yet.

“Together, we raised approximately $30,000 more than last year — an outstanding achievement that will directly enhance patient care and make a lasting difference for families across Southern Alberta,” says Elliott. “We are so grateful to everyone who purchased a ticket and helped make this success possible.”

A total of $219,875 was raised for the CRHF through the sale of 16,734 tickets.

The money will help the Foundation to advance equipment, innovative programs and compassionate patient care at Chinook Regional Hospital.
