LPS seeking suspects in group assault

The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is asking for help in locating seven people who allegedly assaulted a man.

Just after 4:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, officers were called to an assault on the 200 block of 7 Street North.

An injured 55-year-old man was taken to hospital and has since been discharged.

LPS says it learned that the assault was allegedly committed by a large group of people, some of whom reportedly used weapons to strike the victim.

Police were provided with the following descriptions of the suspects:

  • Person 1 in a brown jacket, black pants, black shoes
  • Person 2 in white pants, white hoodie, black and white shoes
  • Person 3 with a dark hat, grey hoodie, grey pants
  • Person 4 in black hoodie blue pants, black shoes
  • Person 5 pushing a black bicycle with a red hat, blue shirt, brown pants, black shoes
  • Person 6 in a black sweater and brown pants
  • Person 7 on a scooter with black hoodie and white emblems, black pants and black and white shoes

A dog was also seen with the group, but no descriptions of the dog were provided.
