Tevi Legge running for Lethbridge City Council

A new contender has stepped forward in the city council race in Lethbridge.

Tevi Legge has announced her campaign in the 2025 municipal elections, set for October 8-20.

She provided the following answers to an LNN questionnaire:

Why did you want to run for Lethbridge City Council?

I want Lethbridge to be a place where my kids want to raise their kids. A place known for innovation, quality of life, safety and trust in local government.

What personal or professional experience do you have that you feel would make you a good city councillor?

I worked in financial services for 18 years and spent my last years in the industry as an executive at a bank. I am now a tech entrepreneur and podcast host who, because of this, brings a balanced perspective of creating change in big systems and feels first-hand the lack of support for local entrepreneurs.

What would be a few of your top priorities if elected?

  • To ensure the council can collaborate effectively.
  • Communicate more frequently and simply/clearly to taxpayers what council decisions and city bylaws mean for them.
  • Find ways to make Lethbridge a safer place to live and work.
  • Seek to understand how we can make life more affordable for the residents of Lethbridge.
  • Advocate for Lethbridge on a provincial and federal scale.
