Election Results: Lethbridge County

The unofficial results are in for the municipal elections in Lethbridge County.

Only two of the County’s seven Divisions required election contests.

Eric Van Essen is projected to become the next councillor for Division 6 with an estimated 152 votes.

Tony Ankermann is projected to have won in Division 7 with an estimated 76 votes.

In all five of the County’s other Divisions, candidates ran unopposed and therefore, won by acclamation.

The results of the election will be made official at noon on Friday, Oct. 24.
