Election Results: MD of Taber

The unofficial results are in for the Municipal District (MD) of Taber.

Contests were held in just two of the MD’s seven divisions.

David Torrie was elected in Division 3 with 126 votes.

Tamara Miyanaga was elected in Division 4 with 116 votes.

The other five seats were decided via acclamation as the candidates ran unopposed.

They include Layne Johnson in Division 1, John Turcato in Division 2, Ernie Peters in Division 5, Murray Reynolds in Division 6, and Martin Kondor in Division 7.

The results will become official at noon on Friday, Oct. 24.
