You can hear directly from members of the Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) and let them know what you think.

The service is set to host a Partners in Policing forum, running from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4, at the Lethbridge Trade and Convention Centre.

Chief Shahin Mehdizadeh is inviting community partners and residents to discuss public safety challenges and identify new opportunities for collaboration.

“Community partners and citizens are co-producers of safety, not merely external stakeholders,” says Mehdizadeh. “Effective collaboration requires communication, understanding, participation and a shared path forward.”

The forum will feature breakout group discussions focused on key crime and public safety challenges.

Participants will share insights and explore innovative approaches to strengthen collaboration, enhance problem-solving and build safer communities.

As part of the registration process, guests will be asked, “What are the most pressing public safety challenges impacting our community?”

Registrations can be done online here until Friday, Oct. 31.
