QMJHL: Sea Dogs use strong third period to top Eagles 6-4
SYDNEY — Jacob Beaulieu had two goals and an assist as the Saint John Sea Dogs used a three-goal third period to earn a 6-4 win over the Cape Breton Eagles on Thursday in Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League.
Angelo Fullerton, Cameron Chartrand, Elliot Dubé and Dylan Rozzi also scored for Saint John (7-6-1).
Starter Rafael Courchesne stopped three of the five shots he faced in the first 6:16 of the game. Justin Robinson turned away 23 of 25 shots the rest of the way in the win.
Adam Klaus, with two goals, Rory Pilling and Jacob De Ladurantaye replied for Cape Breton (4-7-1-3), which lost its fifth straight. Felix Hamel made 27 saves.
