Nov 3, 2025 | 12:12 PM

Four major projects are underway in West Lethbridge, representing over $300 million in residential, commercial, hospitality, and senior living development.

TCI is set to build the area’s first full-service hotel, including 120 rooms and an extended-stay component, alongside the fourth Wendy’s in the city.

“This investment represents our commitment to growth, community, and quality,” said Martie Murphy, CEO of Tollestrup Group.

Sherwood Developments Inc., with partners Avison Young Lethbridge and Silver Ridge Construction, is set to develop more than 100,000 square feet of commercial and retail space on 11 acres.

“This is a significant project for the community of Lethbridge and especially for those in the West who have been underserviced for years,” said Matthew Sherwood, President of Sherwood Developments.

Cedar Ridge Homes plans 450 residential units on 13 acres.

“The Crossings is the new heartbeat of West Lethbridge, and we’re excited to build a cutting-edge residential development,” said Lonny Hoy, CEO of Cedar Ridge Group.

Green Acres Foundation is planning a 2.11-acre senior living community offering independent living close to local amenities.

“This project helps create a community where seniors can live independently while staying closely connected to essential services,” said Dawna Coslovi, CEO of Green Acres Foundation.

Together, these projects are set to significantly expand housing, commercial, and service options in West Lethbridge.
