YWCA Lethbridge launches Stockings of Hope holiday program

YWCA Lethbridge & District is launching its Stockings of Hope campaign with the goal of providing holiday support for women and families who access YWCA programs.

Those programs include Harbour House, Hestia Homes, Hope, Harbour House Support Services, and Safe Visitation.

The 2025 campaign allows the community to participate in three ways:

• Claim and shop for a personalized “wish-list” stocking for an individual or family.
• Donate gift cards or wrapping supplies to be included in each stocking.
• Make a financial donation to help purchase gifts that have not been adopted.

Gift cards and donations are open to the public from Nov. 3. Personalized stockings will be available for adoption beginning Nov. 24, as program participants finalize their wish lists.

Stockings are set to be delivered during the final week before Christmas.

The program reportedly serves around 100 women and families each year, providing support to help them celebrate the holiday season.
