Holiday Giving Machines to support local charities in Lethbridge

As the holiday season approaches, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is set to sponsor three Giving Machines in Lethbridge at Park Place Mall from Nov. 13-Dec. 8, 2025.

The Giving Machines function as vending machines that allow donations toward goods for those in need, such as meals or clothing.

Lethbridge is one of 126 cities worldwide to host the machines as part of the Church’s Light the World Christmas initiative, now in its eighth year. The Church says it covers all operating costs of the machines.

Since the program began, more than $32 million has been raised worldwide, and the local machines raised $150,000 last year, according to the Church.
