Wood’s Homes launches holiday campaign in Lethbridge

Wood’s Homes, an Alberta-based mental health organization, is inviting Lethbridge residents to take part in the Homes for Holidays campaign.

Wood’s Homes has locations in Lethbridge, Calgary, Strathmore, Fort McMurray, Cold Lake, Lac La Biche, and Grande Prairie.

The Homes for Holidays campaign aims to bring warmth and comfort to families facing challenges in the community.

“For many of the children and youth we serve, the holidays can highlight what they don’t have–stability, family, or resources,” says CEO Bjorn Johansson, in a press release. “This campaign helps restore a sense of belonging and joy during what can otherwise be a very hard time of year.”

• Sponsor a young person or Community Group Care Home receiving support from Wood’s Homes.
• Donate a gift from a young person’s wish list, chosen to meet their needs and interests.
• Support a holiday meal through corporate giving.
• Give cash or gift cards, allowing Wood’s Homes to provide personalized support.

Last year, support helped raise over $50,000 across Alberta, according to Wood’s Homes.
