Unplanned power outage affecting southside neighbourhoods

An unplanned power outage is currently impacting a large area of south Lethbridge.

City officials say crews are working to diagnose the cause of the outage and restore power to affected residents as soon as possible.

If you are affected by this outage or driving through the affected area, you’re reminded that: 

• Garage doors will not work during a power outage.
• Treat non-functioning traffic lights as four-way stops.
