The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) has arrested a man who they believe was responsible for stealing $40,000 worth of goods.

The incidents allegedly occurred between September 3 and November 10, 2025, in Lethbridge, Coaldale, Picture Butte, Taber, and Redcliff.

In late October, the LPS Property Crimes Unit investigated several commercial break-and-enters in Lethbridge.

In partnership with other law enforcement agencies in southern Alberta, a suspect was arrested without incident on November 10.

Police claim that the man stole license plates, two flat deck trailers, truck parts, a utility trailer, fuel tanks, and fuel.

Tyler Kelly Blake, 36, of Taber, is charged with two counts of theft over $5,000, three counts of theft under $5,000, two counts of flight from police, two counts of break and enter and commit theft over $5,000, break and enter and commit theft under $5,000, and possession of stolen property.

Blake was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on January 15, 2026.
