LPS seeking robbery suspect

The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is asking for your help in locating a suspect in a robbery.

Officers were called to a retail business on the 1000 block of 2A Avenue North around 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025.

They say a man entered the store and stole “a number” of items.

“When confronted by staff, he began swinging a hammer at them before fleeing the scene. No one was injured in the incident,” reads a news release from LPS.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, approximately 30 years old, 6’0″ tall, and with a thin build. It is believed that he has blond hair, a thin moustache, and a small injury under his nose.

Police say the man was seen wearing blue jeans, a brown and black jacket, and a grey backpack.
