Psychological assessment not done for suspect in Lethbridge pedestrian attacks

The case of a Calgary man charged with five counts of attempted murder following mayhem in a Lethbridge parking lot has been put over.

The lawyer for Christopher David Hegg has previously asked for a psychological assessment of him.

Hegg, 47, remains in custody and the case is adjourned until Jan. 6.

He was charged after three pedestrians were struck by a vehicle and injured in a Lethbridge arena parking lot on Oct. 10.

Two more pedestrians narrowly avoided being hit.

A 77-year-old woman, a 77-year-old man and a 46-year-old man sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
