Brighter Together Survey to capture business sentiment in Lethbridge

Nov 27, 2025 | 12:44 PM

Business owners in Lethbridge are being asked to give their thoughts on the health of their companies.

Economic Development Lethbridge (EDL), the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce, and the Downtown Lethbridge BRZ have launched the seventh annual Brighter Together Survey.

It asks entrepreneurs about their current business health, plans for the upcoming year, and any obstacles they are facing that organizers may be able to help address.

Mike Prociw, Workforce Program Manager with EDL, says, when they see similar results year over year, it gives them a roadmap to shape some of the work they do and projects they take on.

“Strategies to acquire and retain employees, upskilling processes and reskilling current employees are usually topics we hear about when we ask local businesses, so it’s no surprise EDL has added numerous initiatives, tools and resources to help with workforce concerns in our city and region,” says Prociw.

Cyndi Crane, CEO of the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce, adds that the survey is the best way they can advocate for the business community, as it allows them to truly listen and understand the concerns of businesses.

Last year’s Brighter Together Survey found that 63 per cent of respondents were optimistic about the next six-to-12 months.

This year’s survey is now open, and participants will have until early January to fill it out. It can be accessed here.
