Anyone who witnessed a recent hit-and-run collision or has video footage is asked to contact the Lethbridge Police Service (LPS).

At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, police say a white Honda Odyssey was making a left turn on a green light from 10 Avenue South to Scenic Drive South.

An older model, red Dodge Caravan, proceeded through a red light and struck the Odyssey.

LPS claims that the Dodge did not attempt to stop, and fled the scene.

The driver of the Honda was assessed by EMS but was released on scene without further medical intervention.

The offending vehicle may have had a B.C. license plate, but no further details are known.

Damages are estimated at approximately $12,000.

Those who have information on the incident are asked to call LPS at 403-328-4444.
