Cops, Pops and Pizza raises over $14K for Special Olympics

Local law enforcement agencies are celebrating another successful fundraiser in support of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics (LETR).

The Copsevent was held at the Boston Pizza on Mayor Magrath Drive South on Friday, Dec. 5.

Between Boston Pizza’s contribution of $7,664.42, merchandise and cash donations, the fundraiser reached $14,715.42.

That is more than $2,000 over last year’s total.

“The LPS and LETR are grateful to Boston Pizza and everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and supported this year’s event. Your continued commitment helps make a meaningful difference for Special Olympics athletes and programs in our community,” reads a news release from the Lethbridge Police Service.
