Stan Siwik Pool reopening delayed

The reopening of Stan Siwik Pool has been delayed due to unforeseen issues with the pool basin.
Lethbridge city officials say the facility has been closed since Dec. 1 for annual maintenance and was originally scheduled to reopen on Monday, Dec. 22.
As crews actively work to resolve these issues, the city says Fritz Sick, Nicholas Sheran and Cor Van Raay YMCA pools remain open for public use.
Efforts are underway to reopen as soon as possible. The city says it appreciates the public’s patience and understanding.
