Grant-Funded LED retrofitting brings new light to County administration building
The Lethbridge County administration building has received a new LED lighting system, thanks to a grant from the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre (MCCAC).
By replacing the previous fluorescent/tube lighting, County officials say the LED system offers a wide range of operational, financial, and environmental benefits, including significant energy cost savings, reduced maintenance requirements, and improved overall energy efficiency.
“We’re grateful for the support from the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre, which made this retrofit possible,” says CAO Cole Beck, in a County press release Thursday. “By leveraging grant funding, we’re able to make smart upgrades that lower costs, improve energy efficiency, and support long-term sustainability in our organization.”
