Lethbridge Police have charged a 22-year-old male with child luring and invitation to sexual touching.

LPS says their investigation began in mid-December 2025, after police responded to a report that a 13-year-old girl was contacted on Snapchat by a then 21-year-old male who wanted to meet and have sex.

According to LPS, the girl, who was with friends, met the male at a city park and police were subsequently contacted. The male reportedly left prior to police arrival but descriptions of him and his vehicle were provided.

Officers located the subject and he was arrested without incident.

Further investigation confirmed the subject had been communicating with the 13-year-old girl online, was aware of her age and offered to buy her alcohol then take her to his residence.

Sean Cedric Bilo, 22, of Lethbridge, is charged with luring a child under 14 and invitation to sexual touching. LPS says Bilo remains in custody and is next scheduled to appear in court March 20, 2026.

LPS says the investigation is ongoing and no further information is available for release at this time.
