LPS Cadets conducting night shooting training Friday

Do not be alarmed if you hear gunshots in a certain part of the Lethbridge River Valley.

The Lethbridge Police Service says its Cadets will be participating in a low-light/no-light shooting training exercise on Friday, Feb. 27, 2026.

It will occur between noon and 11:00 p.m. at the Police Range, which is south of Whoop-Up Drive.

Those in the area during this period can expect to hear guns being fired.

LPS is thanking the public for their understanding.
