Lethbridge woman wins $100,000 from lotto ticket

Lethbridge has its latest lottery winner.

Linda Bridge has claimed a $100,000 prize from the Jan. 13, 2026, LOTTO MAX Extra draw.

She says that when she went to a store to check her ticket, she had planned to use the self-checking machine, but it was busy.

“I just went right to the cashier. This was the first ticket they checked,” says Bridge.

The employee scanned the ticket, and the result appeared quickly. Bridge says it took a moment for the excitement to sink in.

She adds, “I just saw zeroes flash by. I think the cashier was even more excited than I was.”

Bridge plans to buy a new vehicle and put the rest in the bank. “Once it’s in the bank, I think I’ll be able to relax.”

The winning EXTRA number from the Jan. 13 draw was 2420387, and Bridge had a perfect match.

It was purchased from the Save-On-Foods on 2 Avenue North in Lethbridge.
