Wednesday (Mar. 11) marked 3‑1‑1 Day and seven years of 311 service in Lethbridge.

According to the city, since launching in 2019, the 311 team has handled more than 750,000 calls and remains a key point of contact for residents.

The city says 2025 activity included more than 103,000 phone calls, 7,200 online chats, 31,500 in-person visits, 128,200 information requests, and 21,400 service requests.

This year, the city says staff will benefit from Employee 311, a new internal system that provides a single way to access information and request support.

Residents can continue to use 311 for details on city programs, events, and service requests, including pothole repairs, graffiti cleanup, and large item pickup.

Live agents are available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with an after-hours line for urgent issues such as power outages or water main breaks.
